YOGA MIND TRICKS FOR THE CLASSROOM

DESCRIPTION:
This interactive breakout session will include some tools to help your students get in their bodies to relax their minds so they can focus and increase their learning, and hopefully make your job less stressful as well.  We will practice brain "gym", brain yoga, pranayama (breath exercises), simple yoga asana for the classroom (desk yoga/partner yoga), and meditation.  I will provide you with a few resources for those of you who would like to further your study in any of these categories, and have written down all of the notes for you so you can come in and enjoy each practice without feeling like you have to stop and write it all down.
